Early Years Teacher

Job Description

£12.13 - £112.58hr, £23,652 - £26,981 pa; 37.5 - 41.25 hrs/wk, Monday to Friday

We are looking for an EYT/EYP to join our team and be responsible for supporting and teaching our staff in the delivery of high quality childcare and early years at our nurseries.

Applicants must have highly effective communication and organisational skills and be able to work independently and competently to meet targets. Experience of working in a supervisory role and in depth knowledge and understanding of Ofsted principles and practices are essential. Applicants will need to demonstrate a calm, personable, confident and helpful manor, have experience working in a team and of teaching in an early years environment.

They will support colleagues effectively to deliver fun and inspiring activities within dynamic learning environments and will be responsible for coordinating our focused assessment and planning systems, ensuring that all staff members are meeting their children’s needs and have high aspirations for their key children. The Early Years Teacher will provide 1 to 1 mentoring, training and room coaching to ensure this is achieved.

Qualification requirement:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Professional status (EYP) or Early Years Teacher status (EYT)

Room Leader

Job Description

£11.42 - £12.30/hr, £22,277 - £26,389 pa; 37.5 - 41.25 hrs/wk, Monday to Friday

We are looking to recruit an experienced practitioner who is looking for a new challenge and potential career progression. Applicants must have highly effective communication and leadership skills and be able to work autonomously and competently to meet targets. You must have experience of leading a team, and have in depth knowledge and understanding of Ofsted principles and practices, Child Protection, Health & Safety and all current legislation. Applicants should naturally be calm, personable, confident and helpful with all matters regarding the team and the setting.

Duties will include ensuring the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment; ensure your team plan, prepare and review planned activities reflective of the EYFS; work in partnership with parents; follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery.

NVQ in Childcare Level 3 or above

Senior Nursery Practitioner

Job Description

£9.94 - £10.72/hr, £19,380 - £22,990 pa; 37.5 - 41.25 hrs/wk, Monday to Friday

We are looking to recruit an experienced practitioner who is looking for a new challenge and potential career progression. The successful candidate will be able to support the room leader by creating a stimulating and exciting environment in your room alongside offering high quality care to the children. You must be able to demonstrate good organisational skills; a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); a creative and imaginative approach; and excellent customer service skills. Strong leadership skills are essential as you will be required to lead the team in the Room Leader’s absence.

Trainee Nursery Practitioner

Job Description

£224.42pw; 37.5 hrs/wk, Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for Trainees at our Hove and Brighton Nurseries. We are looking for applicants who have a genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development and who will be able to demonstrate a desire to learn and develop their own skills. You will be given high levels of support by our skilled nominated training provider including one-to-one training and mentoring.
